Delbert Dearman 

Born on a military base in Japan, Delbert Dearman is a long time resident of Mississippi.  His media of choice is graphite but he also works with acrylic, water color and oil pastel.  He has been interested in art since childhood but has been painting seriously since 2004.   

Delbert has made a career in public service.  He was Tax Assessor/Collector for the City of Hattiesburg for several years and has been elected to five terms as Forrest County Tax Collector.  That experience has given him a fondness for drawing governmental buildings as well as other historic downtown structures.
